Avra Davidoff, M.C., R. Psych
Avra is a workplace psychologist specializing in diversity, leadership, and career development. She has worked as a consultant to a variety of public and private sector clients and provides a number of professional services to both individuals and organizations including diversity awareness training, leadership assessments, coaching, employee engagement, and workshop design and facilitation. Avra is currently coordinating a project to develop resources for both employers and employees to facilitate effective maternity leave career transitions. This project was awarded funding through the Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling and is scheduled for completion in early 2016.
Avra holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology from the University of British Columbia, and also holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, with a Career Counselling specialization, from the Graduate Centre for Applied Psychology at Athabasca University. Avra is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and is also a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.
Jenna Kaye, MBA, JD
Jenna Kaye, CEO and Co-Founder, was instrumental in the inception of Corporate Diversity Consultants. She believes that greater gender diversity can be achieved through a commitment to strengthening the internal pipeline of female talent and the development of high potential women – not by imposing quotas. She specializes in business development, marketing and project management. Prior to joining Corporate Diversity Consultants, Jenna practiced law at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in their Securities and Capital Markets group.
Jenna’s legal background and experience providing advice on corporate governance matters gives her a unique understanding of the challenges new legislation poses to issuers. She also draws on her past business experience as the owner of a consulting company in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she learned the value of practical business solutions. Jenna has a BComm from the University of Prince Edward Island and a MBA/JD from Dalhousie and the University of Calgary. Jenna is a member of Young Women in Energy, the Law Society of Alberta and is a past CIS All-Canadian basketball player.
